  9. Giving consent to the processing of personal data is entirely voluntary; however, in some cases, failure to provide consent may prevent the purchase of an offer or use of the Administrator's services.
  10. Users have the right to withdraw their consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal. Consent can be withdrawn by sending an email to contact@northbrains.eu.
  11. Users' personal data will be stored for the period in which they are useful for the purpose for which they were collected, but not less than the limitation period for claims, the period during which the administrator is obliged to process the data based on applicable law, whichever is longer, and in the case of data processed based on consent – no longer than until its withdrawal.

    • the right to data portability – Users have the right to:
      • receive from the Administrator the personal data they have provided, in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format (e.g., .csv) and send those data to another controller without hindrance from the Administrator, if the processing is based on the User's consent or a contract with the Administrator, and if the processing is carried out by automated means;
      • request that the Administrator, in exercising the right to data portability, transfers those data directly to another controller, if technically feasible;
    • object at any time to the processing of personal data for direct marketing purposes, including profiling and delivering newsletters, to the extent that the processing is related to such direct marketing;
    • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority – if Users believe that the processing of their data by the Administrator violates the provisions of the GDPR, they have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office based in Warsaw.
  13. Users' personal data processed for marketing purposes will be subject to automated decision-making processes, including profiling. The purpose of these actions is to better tailor marketing offers to Users' expectations, which allows limiting the sending of information and marketing offers that are not useful to a given User.
  14. Users' personal data, apart from the entities indicated in the preceding paragraph, will not be made available to third parties in any way, including in particular for the purpose of sending marketing materials by third parties.
